How composers feature in Musical Discovery.
The full version of Musical Discovery has biographies on 81 famous composers.  These web pages show the biographies for 14 of them. For each composer, Musical Discovery shows his picture and biography on the upper half of the screen, and on the lower half of the screen it lists music by him, to click and listen.. At the foot of each screen there is a PlayBar which gives you control of playback, rather like a tape or video player.

Composers are all categorized in the database by date of birth, date of death, country of birth, and style/period. This is cross-referenced against screens of countries, categories of music, and styles/periods. There is a time-line of composers for comparison with world events, US history, Kings and Queens of England and the UK, and Australian and New Zealand history.

Layout of the Composer Screens.
The screen-shot below illustrates the composer screen for Mozart, with some of his music showing in the lists at the foot.
