South Australia

Whilst Barbara and Victor were living in Victoria, and later, in Queensland, we made many trips to South Australia to visit Barbara's children and their families. Barbara's daughter Angela lives in the pretty little town of Angaston in the Barossa valley. We did some touring in December 1999, in the Barossa valley. 

Chateua Yaldara is a winery with a fabulous Chateau or castle/palace as the central building in a beautiful park setting.

Tanunda is a pretty village with many interesting old churches, built by Lutheran immigrants from Germany in the latter half of the 19th century.

Seppeltsfiels is another winery, with an impressive monumental family tomb  on a hill overlooking the valley.
